The VI Peel in Charlotte can give patients the same substantial effects as a deep chemical peel but without the pain or the extensive healing period. This one-of-a-kind treatment is intended to reverse the visible effects of aging and sun damage. It exfoliates the skin’s damaged outer layers, resulting in a smoother texture and a more youthful appearance.

Many of the most effective peeling substances, including phenol and TCA, are combined with anti-aging compounds, such as retinol A and vitamin C, in VI Peel therapy. The only distinction is that it lacks irritating hydroxy acids.

Your VI Peel Session

VI Peel therapy normally takes approximately 30 minutes and is painless. It uses a mix of chemicals to break down the top layer of skin and expose the healthy skin underneath.

Our team will cleanse the skin to eliminate debris and oil before administering the VI Peel solution in two layers. Once the initial layer is placed, the patient may feel some numbness or a tingling sensation. Once the second coat is applied, the skin will temporarily turn white. The patient will wash off the peel after four to six hours. The skin will begin to peel three days after the therapy.

After Your VI Peel Session

Initially, your skin will appear red and mildly inflamed after washing the VI Peel off. This is typical and will go away within the first 24 hours. After a VI Peel, you won’t have to take any time off for recovery; you can go back to your normal life right away.

You can take care of your skin after your VI Peel therapy by not applying any creams or lotions to it until you have washed off the peel. Apply moisturizer often until the peeling stops, stay out of direct sunlight while your skin is peeling, and always put on sunscreen when you go outside.

VI Peel results are temporary and typically last three to four months. The best outcomes will be seen about one week following your treatment. The treatment should be done three or four times a year to keep your skin looking younger and brighter.

Your VI Peel procedure will be performed by our team at the White Diamond Medical Clinic.
