O-Shot at White Diamond Medical Clinic and Spa

What Is the O-Shot®?

White Diamond Medical Clinic and Spa PLLC, serving Charlotte, Waxhaw, and Fort Mill, offers the O-Shot®, or Orgasm Shot—a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment designed to enhance sexual pleasure in women. PRP is injected into specific areas of the vagina and clitoris to improve arousal, increase vaginal tightness, and alleviate dryness.

The O-Shot® is an effective option for women experiencing painful intercourse, low libido, or difficulty reaching orgasm later in life.

How Does the O-Shot® Work?

The PRP in the O-Shot® works by stimulating stem cells, collagen, and blood vessels, effectively rejuvenating the vaginal region and making it feel and respond to stimulation the way it did when a woman was younger.

Who Can Get the O-Shot®?

We will help determine if this is the best treatment option for you during a consultation. Women both on and off hormone replacement therapy can usually benefit from the O-Shot® procedure. The O-Shot® may not be safe for pregnant or nursing women. Please wait until after childbirth and breastfeeding before considering this treatment. Those with a history of hypersensitivity or severe allergies should consult with us to explore alternatives.

What Happens During the Procedure?

The O-Shot® procedure is a quick, usually painless, 20-minute, non-surgical procedure. The O-Shot® procedure begins with a simple blood draw. Then, using a proprietary technique, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is extracted from the blood and injected into the numbed area near the clitoris and upper vagina. There is no recovery time, and results are almost immediate in some women.

O-Shot® Aftercare

After an O-Shot® treatment, avoid strenuous activities for 24 hours. If minor itching occurs, antihistamines can be prescribed to help manage irritation.

A cold compress can be used to relieve minor discomfort or reduce swelling after an O-Shot® treatment. You may do this for up to 48 hours. Do not leave the ice pack on the treated area for more than 20 minutes. After two days of using a cold compress, switch to a hot compress.

Washing the treated area is allowed after the treatment. A quick shower is fine during the first three days. Avoid bathtubs, pools, lakes, hot tubs, and saunas.

The results of an O-Shot® treatment can last for up to 12 months. The follow-up treatment will depend on the body’s reaction to the PRP injections.
