I have 10+ years experience in the industry helping people look and feel their best. I am new to North Carolina, as I recently moved from California. My husband and I will be celebrating our five year anniversary soon. I enjoy hiking with my dog, kayaking, remodeling, painting and sculpting in my free time. I always strive to create a warm, welcoming space for our guests, and am eager to create a wonderful experience at our spa for you!
Licensed Medical Aesthetician
I am a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with over 21 years experience. I graduated and earned my licensure from Florida College of Natural Health. I am certified in Paramedical Aesthetics. I continue to take continuing education courses to further my knowledge in skincare.
I have a great passion for skincare and love pampering my clients with gentle “massage” but most importantly, my passion is to see a positive result in my clients’ skin.
Educating my clients about skincare and making their skin the best it can be, is my ultimate goal. I strive to give my clients the best experience and personal care and attention that fits their individual needs. There’s no greater satisfaction!
I have been in the beauty industry for almost ten years. I’m a Certified Medical Nail Technician, Advanced Nail Technologist and Esthetician. I specialize in high risk/diabetic clients along with nail and foot disorders. Advanced Nail Technologists learn advanced sterilization and safe salon protocols, advanced dermatology and anatomy of the feet and hands, and advanced precautions of diabetics.
Medical Nail Technicians work directly under a podiatrist on their patients for conservative care (removal of non infected ingrown toenails, corn and callus removal and fungal nails). They are certified to use and have access to podiatry tools for use during service. Those tools being a Dremel to thin the nail if they have fungus or trauma to the nail that’s made it thicker and the use of a 15 blade scalpel to remove corns and calluses. Kate is able to spot, but not diagnose, certain foot issues (ingrown toenails, athletes foot, fungus) and be able to direct clients to a podiatrist, if needed. Kate worked directly under four podiatrists for four years.
I love helping people not only feel beautiful, but feel better. I have a passion for skincare and working in the beauty industry and it shows with each of my clients.
